Kroger's The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie Review

Last week when I was notified of an opportunity to participate in Krogers 'The Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie' campaign I was MORE than thrilled!! We all know how much my family LOVES cookies. I typically make our cookies from scratch, but it's nice to take a break from baking every once in a while and just grab a box of store cookies. I had actually never tried the Kroger brand of cookies before. Boy were we missing out! The cookies are crunchy and LOADED with chocolate chips! Which is so nice because I have started to notice other companies skimping on the amount of choco chips in their cookies. I also love that they contain NO added preservatives or artificial flavors! You can find these awesome cookies at your local Smiths Grocery store. I also have $1.00 off coupons for anyone interested in trying these! I can tell you you won't be disappointed if you pick these cookies up!

I wrote this review while participating in a BzzAgent Campaign for Kroger The Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies. All opinions are my own.

Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things

Life has been pretty crazy since we moved from Texaco. Dave has been working a ton, I have been catching up with family and canning all sorts of awesome foods. The boys have been busy with school and beating each other up (totally not joking either, Jake currently has his first black eye thanks to Steven).

Needless to say couponing has not been a priority lately. I actually haven't stepped foot into a drug store in over 2 months!! Crazy! I finally broke the record yesterday when I went into Walgreens for my 40 FREE prints! I have a super cute project in mind for all those pics.

I also received my kit from BZZAgent! 5 Maybelline mascaras and 5 Baby Lips lip glosses!! Yay! Can't wait to share these with my buddies!!!

THEN I went to Whole Foods and scored 9 bags of ORGANIC flour for $0.53!!!

Check it out!!

So all this for a bit of my time and 53 pennies! Not a bad way to get back into couponing!!

Oh and by the way, it's totally SNOWING right now!! Can't believe it! My kids are beyond excited!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween was pretty great this year!

We started the day off with pumpkin pancakes

Then I printed Halloween themed school work (I also let the kiddos dress up for school)

Then we watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (at this point they were being impatient and just wanted daddy to get home).

Then we went trick or treating at Maceys (NOTE: I wouldn't advise trick or treating at a grocery store unless you have a 1 year old. There were about 4 differnt locations you could get candy at. It was not at all what I was expecting.)

(Aunt Tanya came along with us!)

We also got some ice cream

THEN it was FINALLY time to go outside and trick or treat!

The kids were knocking on a door when all of a sudden a GIANT spider came crawling down the wall!! Jake was screaming like a little girl and Steven had ran half way down the block by the time I turned around to see him!!! It was pretty funny.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
