This week....

Wow! We have had a pretty busy week! I wouldn't remember half of what we did if it weren't written down on my calendar. And the weeks to come are only going to be more hectic!


Shopping was pretty great this week, I couldn't hit all the sales, but I got a few great things!

Lets start with CVS



Spent $28.49 (ouch!)
Saved $182.41!!! (the bayer contour alone was $74.99)

I did a total of 3 transactions, I'm not going to break them down right now, but the highlight was getting Toy Story 3 for $3.99! Another great Christmas gift to cross off my list!

Then I went to Target twice this week

The olay face wash was free
The candles were $0.41ea
The Tide Stain Release were $1.99ea
Spent $6.44
Saved $41.85!

Then I was totally kicking myself for not buying MORE olay. So I went back. But, someone else realized what a good deal it was and took the rest!! Oh well, there will be another sale soon I'm sure.

I did take advantage of this lotion deal while I was there
It was buy any 2 get a $5 gift card! And I had $4 in coupons
The tide and olay soap was free
So I paid $4.67 total (with another target gift card I had) and got a $5 gift card back! A profit of $.33 for buying lotion! Better than paying for it!

But the thing I was most focused on this week was this......




That would be 120 cans of vegetables!!



This week Dollar General has their Libbys veggie cans for $0.45ea! AND there is a $1/3 coupon! So this made them out to be $0.12ea! Can we say stock up price!! I hurried quick like a bunny and ordered 40 coupons from Ebay and just crossed my fingers they would make it here by the end of the week! Lucky for me, they did! I didn't want the hassle of trying to do this deal at Dollar General, they are VERY difficult when it comes to using coupons, and I didn't want to empty their shelves. So what did I do? Why I took their ad over to the store that claims time and time again that they will match ANY competitors price. Walmart. At first the manager didn't want to do it, but I talked him into it, cause I'm just that good!
So all in all I paid $14.00 for 120 cans that would normally cost $81.60!!
Half of this will go to our food storage (that is EVER growing! I'm so excited!) and the other half will go to my Women's Shelter donation. I think we are going to drop everything off at the end of this month. I still have a few more deals I'm waiting on. Here is a picture of what I have so far...

I need to drop all this off so I can get my sewing room back!
