Let's start with CVS shall we?
This week was a perfect example of spending a little money, to make a lot of money.
Transaction #1
$9.99 Dulcolax Balance (with $10.00 register rewards)
-5.00 coupon
= $4.99 OFP
and $10.00 bucks to use a the store
Transaction #2
18 first aid kits @ $0.99ea
1 Shick razor $8.97 (with $4.00 register rewards)
4 Bic Flex razors
2 Bix Soleil
Total before coupons = $78.03
After coupons and using the $10.00 RR from Trans #1 I paid $3.37 OFP AND I got a $4.00 RR! So, I actually made a $0.63 profit! AND Shich razors have a Try Me Free rebate!
Next, to Walgreens.
I don't really like Walgreens. It's kind of hard to use your Register Rewards there. But I had $10.00 RR that were about to expire so I had to go see what I could find. And I got lucky!
They crayola markers were on sale for $0.99 ea so I got two
The Visine eye drops were free this week with the coupons I had so I got one of those
Elmers glue $0.19ea
All Laundry was on sale for $3.99 and I had a $1.00 coupon (not a great price for laundry soap, but I had to use my RR)
THEN, I found the clearance section. I found South Beach Diet bars on clearance for $0.87 and I had a $1.00 coupon so I made a $0.13 profit!
I found Fiber One bars on clearance for $0.74 and I had a $0.50 coupon making them $0.24 a box! My kids LOVE these.
So after coupons and $10.00 RR I paid $0.47! Awesome!
