Deals, deals and more deals

Man! Yesterday was super busy for us! And it started at 4AM! David had a turn n burn to Houston so we dropped him off at the airport so we could have the car. And because I didn't want to pay $20 for parking.

We went to the post office and mailed off Tallies pkg of clothes from when she was here visiting. LOL sorry tallie, better late than never right?

We went to Target for some deals I read about on a coupon blog. My Target wasn't participating in the gift card offer that I was looking for. Bummer.

But we did find a few good things!



The Nyquil Med is on sale for $4.99ea and there was an AWESOME high value coupon of $4 in last weeks paper so I got them for $0.99ea! That is a great price for medicine.

The Strawberry Shortcake toys were free from a coupon a few weeks back. I'm starting to collect free/cheap toys to donate.

Spent $7.37 (I got the kiddos a treat so we could survive the rest of our errands)
Saved $48.77! Cool!

Then we went to Hobby Lobby for some supplies so I could make these......


Aren't they cute?! Steven is FREAKED out by them! He keeps point to them and saying: boo momma! boo! ahh!


Then I cleaned up the house for a couple of hours. Joy.

Then we went to the park with our buddies Miss Laura and her little girl Lil. The kiddos had a great time! I of course forgot the camera! Next time, gadget. Next time!

I blame it on lack of sleep.

On our way home we got some drinks and filled up the truck with gas. That's always fun. Too bad I can't get a coupon for gas.

Then later than afternoon the UPS guy dropped off some pkgs!


The kiddos LOVED those cherry bars so much I decided to get some more. Only I got strawberry banana.

The 2nd pkg was more gymboree clothes! Remember those gymbucks I got? Well they were about to expire so I went ahead and ordered some more jammies! Aren't they cute?



And guess what they included? More coupons! Ahhh!




Oh and I forgot to mention this SWEET deal!



I went to Kmart because I heard they have a TON of toys on clearance with an additional 50% off! So I just had to go see what I could find!
Two of the Strawberry Shortcake toys were on clearance for $4.50ea and I had the $10 off coupon.
The 3rd Shortcake toy was normal price of $9.99
The Elmo Microwave was on clearance for $13.00 (this toy is normally $35!)
So what made this trip so awesome? Kmart let me keep the coupon overage from the $10 coupon! So I actually made a profit of $11 from buying those two Strawberry Shortcake toys that were on clearance! Cool!
Spent $4.75
Saved $59.99! Awesome!

Mr. Steven is going to LOVE the Elmo toy. And the girls toys are obviously going to be donated. No little girls in our house! Just two crazy boys.
