Finishing up with the deals

So, this weeks deals didn't work out as I had planned. Thanks to @#!*&%! Walmart, I wasn't able to get all the Nivea chapsticks like I wanted to. I REALLY hate going into a Walmart and getting a COMPLETELY different answer for the Walmart down the street. I'm not mad about the fact that I didn't get my chapsticks, I'm mad that the people who are in charge, who are supposed to know what they are doing, don't. They simply don't. And it frustrates me to no end! And on top of that I didn't get my Strawberry Shortcake toy coupons I was going to use at Toys R Us this week! It would have been 10 free toys to donate. Ugh!

Ok, I feel better. Moving on.


I got some pretty cheap baking goods at Walmart this week. I'm prepping for the holidays! I LOVE to bake!


I'm not going to break this shopping trip down. But it was a good trip


Then my San Benito Walmart was willing to price match the Walgreens ad for the $1 Nivea. I used a $1 coupon making them free! So I got 7.



Since I cleaned out the San Benito Walmart, I went to the Harlingen Walmart, trying to get the same deal. But, they wouldn't do it. So I left very frustrated.

But then I went to Target and got some great deals!



The Motts apple sauce is on sale for $1.67ea and when you buy 5 you get a $5 gift card! Cool! So after the gift card they are $0.67ea! What a great deal for apple sauce!
So I did 4 transactions
Trans #1
5 Motts applesauce
= $8.35
And I received a $5 gift card

Trans #2
5 Motts applesauce
= $8.35
- $5 Target gift card
= $3.35!
AND I got another $5 gift card!

Trans #3
5 Motts applesauce
= $8.35
- $5 gift card
= $3.35
received another $5 gift card

Trans #4
4 Kandoo wipes
1 colgate toothbrush for Steven (since his old one "fell" into the toilet the other day)
2 Kleenex hand towels
= $9.25
- $5 Target gift card
= $4.25!

So all in all I spent $19.30 and saved $24.90! We will be set on applesauce for a long while.

Jake got a free toy in the mail this week! He was SHOCKED to find a toy in the mailbox! LOL it was very cute.



The boys playing with that eco-playdoh I got for free. It smells like Rosemary and feels so soft! The kiddos love it!

He is my silly baby! And as soon as he doesn't have a bruise or a huge mosquito bite on his cute little face, I'm going to have his and Jake's pictures done. So hopefully that will be soon!
